I get it—because I feel exactly the same way.
I was born in the 70s, but my formative years were the 80s—an era of power dressing, shoulder pads, and the dream of financial success. Think Dallas and Dynasty, where money meant luxury, security, and the ability to live life on your terms. But let’s be clear—not all crypto investors want a Lambo, to live in Dubai, or post on social media all day.
Some of us simply want privacy, financial security, and the ability to make choices about our wealth without relying on banks, pensions, or outdated financial systems.
How I Got Into Crypto
In 2020, I had a small pot of money, and I was determined to make it work for me. I wasn’t happy settling for a measly 5% return in the bank, knowing full well that they were using my money to generate many times more for themselves. I wanted more control over my finances, but I had no idea where to start.
So, I decided to take charge. Over the years, I’ve taken a number of courses, tested different strategies, and learned what actually matters for someone new to crypto—someone who doesn’t want to spend their life staring at charts or taking high-stakes risks, but instead wants a practical, low-stress way to build financial security for the long term.
Along the way, I questioned how I would do things differently - my summary was that I had been in the wrong classrooms. You see, the courses I took were full of twenty-something 'dudes' in baseball caps, hyped up on becoming the next crypto millionaire. It was all day trading, technical analysis, and risky short-term plays—none of it was for someone like me. I wasn’t looking to gamble or stare at charts all day. I wanted a simple, smart, long-term plan that worked for real life.
So, I figured it out myself—through trial, error, and hours of research. And I realized that crypto isn’t just for the traders and the tech bros—it’s for people like you and me who want financial autonomy, a way to protect and grow wealth, and an alternative to a failing system.
